Premium strings are not translated

While upgrading to premium, or the Complianz Privacy Suite, the provided premium language files should be registered to replace the free plugins’ language files. If you have the free plugin, Complianz GDPR/CCPA Cookie consent, installed while upgrading it should deactivate. During the activation of premium, and deactivation of the free plugin it might happen the premium strings are not automatically registered.

A quick way to resolve this issue is to delete the free plugin

This will most likely register the premium strings and you’re ready to go. Settings won’t be affected.

If this still occurs after you have deleted free, the premium strings might not be uploaded/installed during the upgrade. To quickly check if this is the case you will need to open your webroot folder with FTP and go to /root/wp-content/plugins/complianz-gdpr-premium/pro/languages/. Please check if your needed language files are present. If not, you can always upload the to before mentioned folder. The files can be found in the .zip provided under complianz-gdpr-premium/pro/languages/.
