What is WCAG 2.0?
Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) is a document produced and published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) as part of their Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI). The guide consists of a set of guidelines on how to make content accessible to people with disabilities. Following these guidelines also makes content more accessible to web browsers and devices with limited functionality such as mobile phones.
The WCAG 2.0 consists out of four principles:

- Perceivable: All of the information and all components should be visible to the user.
- Operable: The components of the user interface and the navigation should be operable by the user.
- Robust: Content must be sufficiently robust to be reliably interpreted by a wide range of user agents, including assistive technologies.
- Understandable: All of the information and the use of the interface should be understandable.
Conclusion
The WCAG 2.0 are guidelines on how to make content accessible to people with disabilities. It’s not obligated to commit to these guidelines but it would be great if you add them.
