CSS Lesson #19: The Minimal Bottom Banner Revisited

Some things have changed in Complianz 6.0. And some are no longer, including the simple bottom banner as a template, but don’t worry. With some CSS you can get there again! Let’s first walk through the needed cookie banner settings.

For what it’s worth. We will reinstate templates in the near future.

Cookie Banner settings

Make sure you don’t have the following features enabled:

  • Close button
  • Title
  • Box shadow on header and footer

For the bottom, the minimal approach we suggest using the categories: Accept/Deny. If you have the default wording from 6.0, you can change this back as well under Banner Settings – Cookie message and use: “We use cookies to optimize our website and service”.

Append to your Cookie message the needs policy links in the WYSIWYG editor.
