When reCaptcha is enabled on WordPress websites with Divi from Elegant Themes, which is mostly the case when using the native form from Divi, it will create a dependency on the reCaptcha script being present. This means blocking reCaptcha before consent does not only affect reCapthca but other functionalities as well, which seems unnecessary.
We have created a support ticket at Divi to isolate this script and ensure it doesn’t create an unnecessary dependency. We have also introduced the WP Consent API to Divi to circumvent the issue and create a better consent handling for the entire team. You can find more information about the API here: wpconsentapi.org.
If your website is unaffected, you can go to https://complianz.io/divi-the-contactform-doesnt-work/
If your website is affected, please disable reCapthca under Integrations until the issue is fixed.
