In rare cases, some website visitors who are using Edge, and have SmartScreen from Microsoft Defender enabled, will get a “Not Secure” message in their address bar. This message signifies a false positive on:
If you’re experiencing this issue, please do the following;
- In Edge go to the three dots at the top right-hand corner and find “Help & Feedback”
- In the Help & Feedback menu declare the website safe.
- This will whitelist the file and won’t be recognized as a false positive again.
We are rewriting the URL for this purpose, so Edge doesn’t accidentally create a false positive. All other browsers work as they should.
